developed to maximize good skeletal position and the user's
ability to "sit to stand". The ergonomic design reduces the
effort and risk associated when rising from standard height
chairs while lessening the chance of a lifting injury to the
caregiver. This seating system is designed with an exclusive
seat deck control mechanism which allows for a flat or an
elevated forward slope. Many seating experts agree that a seat
that slopes forward encourages a natural skeletal position.
