The Doctor's Senior Exercise program was developed by Dr. Emanuel M. Cane, who at age 85, was a practicing Chiropractor for over 53 years. After treating patients for many different ailments and recommending exercises and other ways in which these patients can alleviate their aches and pains, I realized that I was neglecting my own health in the process. That realization came several years ago when my cholesterol climbed to 268, my triglicerides were 275, while my weight climbed steadily to 168lbs. My blood pressure was fluctuating between 160/100 and 170/110, and my waist size was getting tight at 36 inches. So, at 5'6" with the above specifications, I knew I was in trouble and had to do something about it. I had to correct my sedentary lifestyle.

I was never one to go to gyms and exercise, even if I could find the time. It was then that I decided to develop an exercise program that I could do in my own time and at my own pace. I needed a program that was simple and wouldn't take too much time, yet was effective. I worked on it for almost 8 months trying different combinations of exercises before I came up with the program I could live with.

I then dedicated myself to doing this program each morning for 15-20 minutes 7 days a week. After 6 months, I am happy to say, my cholesterol went down to 149, my triglicerides were 99, my weight was 140 lbs., and my waist size was 33 inches. This all occurred without any appreciable change in my diet. My cholesterol, triglicerides and weight have remained constant at the above levels, and my blood pressure stays between 130/75 and 140/80.
