Our poisoned planet! Since 1950, at least 70,000 new chemical compounds have been dispersed into our environment and food. The dramatic increase in Liver Disease. Thanks to governmental failure to regulate today's industrial and agri-business practices, and protect our soil, air, and water, twenty- five million (25,000,000) Americans are or have been affected with liver disease, according to the American Liver Association. Nearly twenty years ago, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) estimated that up to 20% of all deaths in America are due to pollutants and environmental hazards.₂

To make matters worse, modern medicine has also become one of the prime sources of liver toxicity! A recent clinical study found that painkiller medications containing acetaminophen, such as Tylenol, are a leading cause of liver failure.₃ Other sources include cytotoxic drugs, sex hormones, and irradiation used in cancer therapy.

Basic Liver Care. Sadly, people generally have little knowledge of the importance of the vital functions their livers perform nonstop or how to maintain basic liver health. Although your liver is responsible for protecting you against the thousands of toxins you unwittingly encounter each day, it does not complain until it is so stressed and overloaded that the damage is far advanced.

Millions of Americans have impaired liver function, called "sluggish" liver, which can have adverse health effects even when liver disease and damage are not directly evident.

Symptoms indicating liver problens:

1. Feelings of tightness and constriction of the chest and upper aMomen;
2. Chronic fatigue;
3. Sluggish digestion and/or nausea;
4. Allergies and/or autoimmune disorders;
5. Easy bruising and web like red spots on the

Factor Nine: Liverzyne is a synergistic formulation developed by Titan Laboratories containing natural compounds, herbals, and enzymes that support liver function and the detoxification or coajugalioa pathway in the liver which breakdown and rapidly "flush out" chemical poisons.

The Fat Burning Machine. Your liver is the main fat burning organ in your body. It removes fatty acids from the blood stream and regulates fat and carbohydrate metabolism. When the liver becomes over-taxed, the result is "fatty liver," one of the most common forms of liver dysfunction. Persons with "fatty liver" find it almost impossible to lose weight.

DL-Methionine, a sulphur containing essential amino acid, assists in the breakdown of fats, thus helping to prevent a buildup of fat in the liver and arteries.₄ Choline Bitartrate acts to prevent fats from accumulating in the liver.₅ Both of these importatat ingredients are employed in the Factor Nine: Liverzyne formulation.

Dandelion root extract has been utilized in Europe since the 16th century for "blood purifying" and liver congestion as it enhances bile flow. The liver produces bile which is necessary to emulsify and digest fats. Clinic studies confirm that dandelion root successfully treats hepatitis, liver swelling, jaundice and indigestion in those with inadequate bile secretion.₆

All three of these important ingredients are employed in Factor Nine: Liverzyne because only the liver can purify the blood stream and you only have one liver!

The Regeneration Machine. The liver is so vital to life it has the remarkable capacity to regenerate itself after damage or injury. However. liver damage becomes irreversible through a process called cirrhosis where the normal structure of the liver is lost and replaced with scar tissue. This occurs when the liver lacks the proper nutrients it requires to function efficiency and has been over- burdened with toxins over a period of time.₇

Artichoke leaf extract containing 2% caffeyiquinic acid has been clinically shown to be a liver restorative in cases of liver damage, diseases, and poor digestion.₈

Silymarin is an extract of the seed of the Milk Thistle plant and is used medicinally in the regeneration of liver cells damaged by toxins and disease such as hepatitis.₉ Silymarin is also used clinically in the treatment of alcohol-induced liver damage.₁₀ The Milk Thist.le used in Titan Laboratories Silymarin has been standardized to yield 80% Silymarin.

Schisandra extract is incorporated into Factor Nine: Liverzyne to increase the liver's ability to fend off chemical and environrumental stress₁₁ while the herb Bupleurium root increases liver glycogen and lowers cholesterol levels to prevent liver damage.₁₂

The liver filter, like any filter, needs to be cleansed regularly. This may be easily and pleasantly achieved by following the dosage instructions for Factor Nine: Liverzyne and the recommendations provided by your health practitioner. If the filtering and detoxification systems within the liver are overloaded, the blood stream will become poisoned with dead cells, toxins, chemicals, heavy metals, and bacteria.
